Lagos State Government has given all truckers operating at Apapa Ports 10 days to remove them or they will be impounded.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation Oluwatoyin Fayinka, at a stakeholders’ meeting, said truckers who do business in Apapa need not make life unbearable for others, especially residents.
He said the state has taken over the management of traffic at Apapa, following the dissolution of the Presidential Task Team (PTT), headed by the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu set up a four-man committee to manage the Apapa traffic.
