A winter weather travel advisory is in place as heavy snowfall is expected in Toronto and parts of the GTA on Monday morning.
Environment Canada says Toronto, York, and Peel regions should expect to see anywhere between five to 10 centimetres of snow.
The precipitation will begin on Sunday night with a possibility of snow mixed with rain on Monday morning. Temperatures will be at -1C, but feel like -8C with the wind chill.
Environment Canada says heavy snowfall could result in low visibility on roads and drivers will likely be impacted on Monday morning.
Commuters should exercise extra caution and alter travel plans as needed.
The snow is expected to end on Monday afternoon.
