Prince William and Prince Harry were at each others throats at Prince Philips funeral according to a royal expert
The brothers kept civil during the funeral proceedings but were unable to maintain the peace once they were away from the public.
They reportedly tried to sit down and resolve their problems but ended up arguing when they couldnt find common ground.
These claims were made by royal expert and author of Battle of Brothers, Robert Lacey, who spoke to friends close to the princes.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Robert said: Their friends’ gentle nudges seemed to have had some effect that solemn Saturday afternoon as the two princes walked out of St George’s Chapel to cross the courtyard side by side subtly brought together by Kate, who then left the pair to the brotherly exchange of words seen on camera.

Many onlookers hoped to see progress in their relationship both throughout the world and within their inner circle, Robert says: Some inching towards reconciliation seemed in progress, their watching friends dared to dream as did the whole world.
“But those hopes were dashed within minutes of the siblings getting inside the castle and beyond camera vision. They started quarrelling again.”
Their father Prince Charles sent the funeral cars away to allow William and Harry time to speak as the two had not seen each other in person since the Duke of Sussex moved to LA.
However, a friend told Robert that once the cameras were away the brothers didn’t get along: There they were, at each other’s throats as fiercely as ever.
“The rage and anger between those two has grown so incredibly deep. Too many harsh and wounding things have been said.”
Even after this, the royal brothers both sat down with Charles to speak about their personal issues at Windsor Castle.
Robert shared that there doesnt seem to be an end in sight for the distant relationship: There was no reconciliation… The conflict between Diana’s two bitterly-divided sons does not seem likely to end any time soon.”
