Boris Johnson has tried to claim credit for Matt Hancocks resignation as health secretary but has been mocked by Dominic Cummings.
The prime minister said he had removed Hancock because he was undermining the governments messaging on coronavirus, leaving Downing Street struggling to explain why he tried to dismiss such concerns on Friday.
