BATAVIA The number of active COVID-19 cases remained above 300 as of Monday evening.
A total of 313 cases were reported, an increase of six compared to Friday. A total of 137 new cases and 132 recoveries were reported.
Heres a county-by-county look at the data:
Genesee County on Monday reported 32 new cases of COVID-19, for a total of 5,109 cases since the pandemic arrived in the region in March 2020.
The individuals are under the age of 20 and in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. The new cases include people in the countys eastern, western and central regions.
New York state continues to report a total of 121 COVID-19-related deaths in Genesee County.
The county reported 32 new recoveries for a total of 4,491 recoveries.
In Genesee County, 23,666 residents, or 41.2 percent of county residents, have received at least one vaccine dose; 18,244 residents have completed the vaccine series, according to the states COVID-19 vaccine tracker.
Of the 70 active cases, four are hospitalized.
There have been 130,424 total tests for the virus conducted in Genesee County. The results include 125,315 negative tests for an infection rate among those tested of 3.92 percent.
The countys seven-day rolling average of positive cases was 2.4 percent.
Orleans County reported 34 new positive cases for a total of 2,931 since the pandemic began.
The individuals are under the age of 20 and in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s. They include people in the countys central, eastern and western regions.
The county reported 42 new recoveries for a total of 2,454.
In Orleans County, 14,341 residents, or 35.3 percent of county residents, have received at least one vaccine dose; 10,887 residents have completed the vaccine series, according to the states COVID-19 vaccine tracker.
Among the 86 active cases in Orleans County, three are hospitalized, according to county health officials.
The state is reporting Orleans County has had 83 COVID-related deaths.
To date, there have been 70,977 total tests conducted for county residents, with 68,046 of them negative, for an infection rate of 4.13 percent among those tested.
The countys seven-day rolling average of positive cases was 4.3 percent.
Wyoming County reported 19 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, bringing its overall total to 2,618 community cases since the pandemic began, according to the Wyoming County Health Department.
Five are from the northwest quadrant, which includes Attica, Bennington, Orangeville and Sheldon; four are from the southwest quadrant, which includes Arcade, Eagle, Java and Wethersfield; two are from the southeast quadrant, which includes Castile, Gainesville, Genesee Falls and Pike; and eihgt are from the northeast quadrant, which includes Covington, Middlebury, Perry and Warsaw.
Four of the new cases are under the age of 20, six in their 20s, two in their 30s, two in their 40s, three in their 50s, and two in their 60s.
As of Monday, the county had 62 active cases under mandatory isolation and 178 people in mandatory quarantine.
The number of recoveries increased by 23 to 2,505.
In Wyoming County, 14,745 residents, or 36.8 percent of county residents, have received at least one vaccine dose; 11,690 residents have completed the vaccine series, according to the states COVID-19 vaccine tracker.
Wyoming Countys death total is being reported at 51 by county health officials, identical to the state Department of Health report.
No new cases were reported at state correctional facilities in Wyoming County. The overall total remained at 533 cases since the pandemic arrived locally.
To date, there have been 76,261 total tests conducted for county residents, with 73,643 of them negative, for an infection rate of 3.43 percent among those tested.
The countys seven-day rolling average of positive cases was 3.9 percent.
The Livingston County Department of Public Health reported 52 new, confirmed COVID-19 cases over the weekend, increasing its overall total to 4,390 as of Monday.
Livingston County also recorded 35 new recoveries, bringing its total to 4,251.
There are 95 active cases among Livingston County residents, according to the countys COVID-19 tracking map, an increase of 17 since Friday.
Of the current active cases, three are hospitalized, according to county health data. That represents no change since Friday.
Active cases include 13 each in Dansville (up eight) and Geneseo (up seven); 10 in Caledonia (down four) and Nunda (up eight); nine in Avon (down one); seven each in Livonia (up two) and Mount Morris (up one); six in Lima (up four); five in Conesus (up one; four in Piffard (up one); three in Hunt (down one); two each in Dalton, Leicester (down two), and Springwater; and single cases in Linwood and a Wayland zip code in Livingston County.
Livingston County is reporting 44 COVID-19-related deaths. New York State is reporting 58 deaths attributed to the virus.
Livingston County has administered 127,622 tests for COVID-19 among county residents. The results include 123,232 negative results, according to the countys COVID-19 tracking map. The infection rate among those tested is 3.44 percent.
The seven-day rolling average of positives was 3.2 percent.
